Our philosophy
The focus at Nanda's Playhouse Home Daycare is to encourage a holistic approach to development for all kids in our care, respecting individuality and self pace of each kid. A holistic development refers to a child's development in ALL areas – physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually and morally/spiritually. That's why we will play (a lot!) while learning about good manners, taking turns, sharing, fair play, teamwork and developing emotional intelligence; we will see shapes, numbers and the ABC's while developing gross and fine motor skills; we can learn about spiritual development (we are a Christian non-denominational family), view of self, interaction with the environment and moral decision-making while listening to a story and singing in circle time.
Nanda's Playhouse Home Daycare offers children the care, comfort, fun and safety they deserve and for parents, the peace of mind that comes from knowing your child is in the best of hands. Each day promises an exciting new adventure, as each child experiences the joys of a truly caring environment. The most important thing you can give your child is the feeling of security, trust, and love. From that, the social and emotional foundation is built to encourage confidence and self-esteem. Through kindness, patience and support, and by working together as a team, a positive parent/provider relationship sets a child up for success in the future!
